Queen of Cajun Cooking Marcelle Bienvenu of St. Martinville, Louisiana pens new True Blood cookbook. Here she is in her garden.

So now vampires and Louisiana food have finally come together in a True Blood cookbook penned by my own cousin Marcelle Bienvenu.

I was wondering when a Bienvenu would finally make the big time and it seems that Marcelle has finally done it. Of course, the one time New Orleans resident, and Times Picayune food writer is not new to the national spotlight, she’s cowritten many of Emeril Lagasse’s cookbooks.

Here’s the story about Marcelle Bienvenu’s True Blood cookbook from the Washington Times.

Marcelle Bienvenu is known as the Queen of Cajun cooking and you can find out more about her at her website http://www.marcellebienvenu.com

Notes on New Orleans wishes her much success with her new True Blood book.
