I was listening to local New Orleans chef and foodie Poppy Tooker on WWNO the other day. She was interviewing chef and restauranteur John Folse and they talked about R’evolution his new restaurant in the French Quarter.
Well, that restaurant just happens to be one of six new restaurants that British newspaper The Daily Mail talks about in their article about some of the best new places to eat in the Crescent City.
Seems the author of this article has had it to here with the gumbo and jambalaya. Yes, there can be a little repetition in our menus as he says.
But heck New Orleanians have been eating our New Orleans cuisine for years, we like it and we ain’t about to give it up. That’s what people come for and that’s what we like.
Still it doesn’t hurt to try something different every once in a while.
